The dog arched like a Halloween cat

There was black and white static on a streaming app

The cookie dough ice cream had nuts in it

The kernels wouldn’t pop on the stove or in the microwave

The sound of the wind was louder that the cat’s hiss

The plants seemed taller than during the day

The clock displayed a time that didn’t seem to match the mood
